Kamareddy Anganwadi Recruitment 2026: The Department of Women, Children, Disabled and Senior Citizens, Kamareddy District, Government of Telangana, has released an official recruitment notification (Notification No: A/262/2026) for Anganwadi centers. Applications are invited online from eligible local female candidates to fill up 190 vacancies for Anganwadi Teachers and Anganwadi Helpers (Ayas). Vacancy Details

The Department of Women, Children, Disabled and Senior Citizens, Kamareddy has announced 190 vacancies across five ICDS projects. The recruitment includes 95 positions for Anganwadi Teachers and 95 positions for Anganwadi Helpers (Ayas) to fill local center requirements in Banswada, Domakonda, Kamareddy, Madnoor, and Yellareddy.

Education Details

• Anganwadi Teacher: Female candidates must have passed Intermediate (10+2) or equivalent from a recognized board.

• Anganwadi Helper (Aya): Candidates must have passed Intermediate. However, if eligible Intermediate-passed candidates are not available for the Helper post, candidates who have passed 10th Class (SSC) will be considered.

• Local Residency: Applicants must be permanent local residents of the respective Gram Panchayat (for rural areas) or Ward (for urban areas) where the Anganwadi center is located. A valid residence certificate issued by the Tahsildar within one year of the notification date is mandatory.

Salary

Selected Anganwadi Teachers and Anganwadi Helpers will receive a monthly honorarium/stipend as per the prevailing pay scales and rules established by the Government of Telangana for ICDS personnel.

• Minimum Age: 18 years (as on 01/07/2026)

• Maximum Age: 35 years (as on 01/07/2026)

Selection Process

The final merit list will be prepared out of 100 total marks based on the following selection criteria:

1. Intermediate Marks Merit: Up to 70 marks

2. Special Categories Weightage:

   • Widows: 5 marks

   • Orphans: 10 marks

   • Persons with Disabilities (PwD): 5 marks

3. Interview: 10 marks conducted by the District Selection Committee
