Education Details
Open Market Candidates: Applicants must have completed a Graduation degree in any discipline from a recognized university. Knowledge of English and proficiency in the local language (Telugu) is essential. Working knowledge of computers is also mandatory.
PACS In-Service Candidates: Candidates must have passed Intermediate along with JDC/HDC/DCRS, or possess a Graduation degree from a recognized university. Additionally, applicants require a minimum of 6 years of service in a PACS affiliated with the Visakhapatnam DCCB as of the notification date.
Local Status: All candidates must be considered “Local” to the erstwhile Visakhapatnam District based on consecutive study years or residency guidelines.
Salary
Selected candidates for the Staff Assistant post will be placed on the pay scale of Rs. 24,050 – 64,480/- (20 stages) alongside 11 stagnation increments. Currently, the total starting emoluments are approximately Rs. 47,000/- per month, which includes Dearness Allowance (DA) and House Rent Allowance (HRA) at current rates.
Age Limit
Candidates must meet the following age limits calculated as on 01.06.2026:
Open Market: Minimum 20 years and Maximum 30 years.
PACS In-Service: Upper age relaxation is provided up to 45 years (subject to a maximum of 50 years with category relaxations).
Age Relaxations:
SC / ST Candidates: 5 years
BC Candidates: 3 years
PwBD (General): 10 years
PwBD (SC / ST): 15 years
PwBD (BC): 13 years
Ex-Servicemen: Actual period of service rendered + 3 years (up to 50 years maximum)
Selection Process
The selection process is based entirely on an Online Examination. There will be no interview stage.
Open Market Test: The exam features 200 objective-type questions for 200 marks, covering Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude, English Language, General Awareness, and Computer Knowledge. Total duration is 120 minutes.
PACS Test: The exam features 50 questions for 100 marks covering the “Working and Functions of PACS” with a 60-minute duration.
Negative Marking: For both tests, 0.25 marks will be deducted for every incorrect answer.

- SC / ST / PwBD / EXS Candidates: Rs. 590/- (inclusive of GST)
- OC / BC / EWS Candidates: Rs. 826/- (inclusive of GST)

How to Apply

- Click on the “Click here for New Registration” tab and enter your name, contact details, and email ID.
- Note down the system-generated Provisional Registration Number and Password sent to your email and phone.
- Carefully fill in the online application form with your personal, educational, and demographic details.
- Upload scanned copies of a recent passport-size photograph, signature (in black ink), left thumb impression, and a handwritten declaration.
- Complete the live photograph capture step using a webcam or mobile device.
- Verify all information on the preview screen and click “COMPLETED REGISTRATION”.
- Proceed to the “Payment” tab, pay the requisite application fee online, and submit the form.
- Print and save the e-Receipt and the final application form for document verification.
