Vacancy Details

The recruitment drive aims to fill 60 Anganwadi Teacher posts across four ICDS projects in Karimnagar district. Gangadhara project has the highest share of vacancies, followed by Huzurabad, Karimnagar Rural, and Karimnagar Urban.

Education Details

• Academic Qualification: Candidates must have passed Intermediate (12th Class) or its equivalent.

• Locality Requirement: Applicants must be local residents of the concerned Ward/Division (Urban areas) or Gram Panchayat (Rural areas) where the Anganwadi Center is located.

• SC/ST Sub-Plan Posts: For posts earmarked under the SC/ST Sub-Plan, only candidates belonging to habitations/villages within that specific Gram Panchayat are eligible.

Salary

Selected candidates will receive a monthly honorarium in accordance with the prevailing norms and guidelines set by the Government of Telangana for Anganwadi Teachers.

Age Limit

• Minimum Age: 18 Years (as of 01/07/2026).

• Maximum Age: 35 Years (as of 01/07/2026).

Selection Process

Selection will be done based on a 100-mark comprehensive assessment criteria:

1. Intermediate Academic Merit: Up to 70 Marks based on Intermediate marks.

2. Special Categories Weightage:

   • Widows: 5 Marks

   • Orphans: 10 Marks

   • Persons with Disabilities (Divyang): 5 Marks

3. Interview: 10 Marks (conducted by the District Selection Committee).
