Education Details
- Senior Personal Assistant: Must be a graduate from a recognised University. Candidates must have a speed of not less than 110 w.p.m. in Shorthand (English) and 40 w.p.m. in Typewriting (English) on a computer, along with a good working knowledge of computers.
- Personal Assistant: Must be a graduate from a recognised University. Candidates must have a speed of not less than 100 w.p.m. in Shorthand (English) and 40 w.p.m. in Typewriting (English) on a computer, along with a good working knowledge of computers.
Salary
- Senior Personal Assistant: Placed in the 8th Level of the Pay-matrix as per the 7th CPC.
- Personal Assistant: Placed in the 7th Level of the Pay-matrix as per the 7th CPC.
Age Limit
- Minimum Age: 18 years.
- Maximum Age: 32 years (Candidates should have been born not earlier than January 2, 1994, and not later than January 1, 2008).
- Age Relaxations:
- SC/ST: 5 years
- OBC-NCL: 3 years
- PwBD (General/EWS): 10 years
- PwBD (OBC): 13 years
- PwBD (SC/ST): 15 years
- Ex-Servicemen: 3 years after the deduction of military service rendered
- Note: There is no upper age limit for persons currently in regular service in the Delhi High Court.
Selection Process
- Stage-I (Qualifying): English Typing Test of 10 minutes duration on a computer (minimum speed of 40 w.p.m. with a maximum of 3% permissible mistakes).
- Stage-II: English Shorthand Tests (110 w.p.m. for SPA and 100 w.p.m. for PA). Candidates will take a 5-minute dictation and get 45 minutes for transcription on a computer.
- Stage-III: Main (Descriptive) Examination of English language (100 Marks, 120 Minutes). It consists of an Essay, Letter Writing, Grammar & Comprehension, and Translation between Hindi and English.
- Stage-IV: Interview for 15 Marks (no minimum qualifying marks). (Final merit is based on the combined marks of Stage-II, Stage-III, and Stage-IV).
Application Fee
- General / OBC-NCL / EWS: ₹1,500/- plus applicable transaction charges.
- SC / ST / PwBD (Specified Disabilities): ₹1,300/- plus applicable transaction charges.
- Correction Charges: ₹200/- for the first correction and ₹500/- for the second correction.
- Payment Mode: Online via UPI, Net Banking, Credit Card, or Debit Card.
