SBI Clerk 2026: Education Details

• Qualification (as on 31.12.2026): Graduation in any discipline from a recognized University or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government.
• Integrated Dual Degree (IDD): Candidates possessing IDD certificates must ensure that the passing date is on or before December 31, 2026.
• Final Year Candidates: Those in their final year or semester of graduation may apply provisionally. If selected, they must present proof of passing the graduation exam on or before December 31, 2026.

• Starting Basic Pay: $\text{Rs. 26,730/-}$ ($\text{Rs. 24,050/-}$ base + 2 advance increments given to graduate recruits).
• Total Gross Emoluments: Approximately $\text{Rs. 46,000/-}$ per month at metro cities like Mumbai, inclusive of Dearness Allowance (D.A.) and other admissible allowances.

SBI Clerk 2026: Selection Process

1. Phase-I: Preliminary Examination (Online): Objective test worth 100 marks duration of 1 hour consisting of English Language (30 Qs), Numerical Ability (35 Qs), and Reasoning Ability (35 Qs). Penalty for wrong answers is 1/4th of the marks assigned per question.
2. Phase-II: Main Examination (Online): Objective test worth 200 marks (2 hours 40 minutes duration) covering General/Financial Awareness, General English, Quantitative Aptitude, and Reasoning Ability & Computer Aptitude.
3. Phase-III: Local Language Proficiency Test (LLPT): Candidates provisionally selected must pass a local language proficiency test unless they have studied the specified local language in 10th or 12th standard.
