The Andhra Pradesh High Court has announced a total of four vacancies for the post of Law Clerk on a contract basis. The number of vacancies is tentative and may increase or decrease depending upon the exigencies of the court.

Educational Details
To be eligible for the Law Clerk position, candidates must fulfill the following educational criteria:
Candidates must have acquired a Degree in Law from a recognized University. This could be a 5-year regular stream after 10+2, or a 3-year regular law degree course after graduation.
The applicant should have passed the Law Degree within 2 years immediately preceding the date of the recruitment notification.
Candidates who are currently in the final year (fifth year of the 5-Year course or third year of the 3-Year course) are also eligible to apply, provided they furnish proof of acquiring the law qualification before taking up the assignment.
The candidate should not be pursuing any other regular course, profession, or occupation during their engagement as a Law Clerk. Enrolled advocates must suspend their practice before joining.
Salary
Appointed Law Clerks will receive a fixed consolidated honorarium of Rs. 35,000/- (Rupees Thirty-Five Thousand only) per month. They will not be entitled to any other allowances or perks.
Age Limit
A candidate must not have attained the age of 30 years as on 1st July preceding the last date fixed for the submission of applications. The candidate must also be a citizen of India.
Selection Process
The selection of Law Clerks will be completely merit-based.
Eligible candidates will be called to appear for a Viva Voce (Interview) at Amaravati at their own expense.
The High Court reserves the right to conduct the Viva Voce either physically or through online mode.
The final selection will be made by the Hon’ble Chief Justice through a nominated committee.
