Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
Anganwadi Worker: Candidates must have passed Class 12, or possess a Class 10 pass certificate along with an AICTE-recognised diploma course of at least two years.
Anganwadi Helper: Candidates must have passed Class 10.
Age Limit
The standard age limit for all applicants is 18 to 33 years as of October 14, 2026.
Serving Anganwadi Helpers applying for an Anganwadi Worker post are eligible up to a maximum age of 43 years, subject to applicable departmental provisions.
Local Residence Requirement
The recruitment is exclusively for female candidates who are local residents.
Applicants must be residents of the specific revenue village or urban ward area where the Anganwadi centre is located for a minimum of one year.
A valid local residence certificate issued by the Mamlatdar (not older than 6 months, obtained from a Jan Seva Kendra) is compulsory.
Salary / Honorarium
Selected candidates will serve in honorary positions and receive a fixed monthly honorarium.

Selection Process
The selection process is entirely merit-based. There will be no written examination or physical test.
The merit list will be prepared based on the educational marks secured by the applicants.
Final selection is subject to strict document verification (educational marksheets, Mamlatdar residence certificate, date-of-birth proof, category certificates).
