Education Details
Educational Qualification: Candidates must hold a recognized MD/MS degree or equivalent qualification in the relevant medical discipline. In addition, they should have a minimum of 5 years of teaching or research experience in a recognized medical institution.
Additional Qualification: Postgraduate qualifications or fellowship programs in the respective field are desirable.
Salary
The salary for the Professor posts will be in the Pay Level 13A (Rs. 1,31,400 – Rs. 2,17,100), as per the 7th Central Pay Commission guidelines. The position also offers attractive allowances and other benefits as per government norms.
Age Limit
- Professor and Additional Professor: Not exceeding 58 years
- Associate Professor and Assistant Professor: Not exceeding 50 years
