The institute invites applications from qualified dental professionals for the posts of Senior Residents / Senior Demonstrators (Non-Academic) in the Department of Dentistry. Vacancy Details

AIIMS Mangalagiri has announced 3 vacancies for Senior Residents/Senior Demonstrators in the Department of Dentistry. These vacancies are distributed across specific dental specialties: Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Pedodontics & Preventive Dentistry, and Conservative Dentistry & Endodontics, providing distinct opportunities for postgraduate professionals.

Note: A 4% reservation for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) applies on a horizontal basis as per Government of India rules.

Education Details

• Candidates must possess a Postgraduate Dental Degree (MDS in the respective specialty mentioned above) from a recognized university, institute, or an equivalent qualification thereto.

• The qualifying degree must be completed, and the candidate must have been declared successful on or before the application closing date.

• Candidates must hold a valid Dental / Medical Council Registration certificate.

Salary

• Selected candidates will be placed under the 7th CPC Pay Scale framework.

• The pay scale corresponds to Pay Level-11 of the Pay Matrix with an initial entry pay of Rs. 67,700/- per month.

• In addition to the basic entry pay, Non-Practicing Allowance (NPA) and other standard admissible government allowances will be provided.

Age Limit

• The upper age limit for applying candidates is 45 years as on the closing date of applications (July 15, 2026).

Age Relaxation Rules:

• OBC Candidates: Up to a maximum of 3 years.

• SC/ST Candidates: Up to a maximum of 5 years.

• PwBD Candidates: Up to 10 years for General, 13 years for OBC, and 15 years for SC/ST category.

Selection Process

• Primary Method: The selection process is strictly based on a physical Interview.

• Screening Matrix: In the event that a high volume of applications is received, the institute reserves the right to conduct an MCQ-based screening test in the concerned subject to shortlist candidates for the final interview round.

• Document Verification: Shortlisted candidates must present all their original academic certificates, internship completion certificates, council registrations, and category certificates during physical verification.
