APFU Diploma in Fisheries Admission 2025-26 Application, Eligibility, Dates

Andhra Pradesh Fisheries University is inviting Online Applications for Diploma in Fisheries course in Various Fisheries Polytechnics in the State. Diploma in Fisheries is a 2 year Diploma Course offered to 10th Class passed Candidates. The medium of Instruction is English. There are 55 Seats available in Constituent/ Government College and 330 Seats available in Affiliated Colleges.

The APFU University has established a constituent Fisheries Polytechnic i.e. Sri MVKR Fisheries Polytechnic at Bhavadevarapalli in Krishna District and also accorded affiliation to 6 Private Fisheries Polytechnics

Important Dates

Academic Qualification

Candidate should have passed SSC Examination conducted by Board of Secondary Education, Andhra Pradesh or any other examination recognized as equivalent thereto by the Board of Secondary Education, Andhra Pradesh such as Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), Indian Council for Secondary Education (ICSE), National Institute of Open School (NIOS), A.P., Open School Society (APOSS) etc.

Candidates who have passed SSC in compartmental and who have either discontinued or failed in intermediate are also eligible for diploma admission.

Age Limit

Candidates who wish to seek admission into these courses shall have completed 15 years of age as on 31-08-2025 with an upper age limit of 22 years (Born in between 31.08.2003 and 31.08.2010).

Selection Process

The candidates will be selected based on merit in SSC or equivalent examination, Presidential order, region and social status.   In case of tie, the age of the candidate shall be taken into consideration.

Online Registration Fee

The Online application and Counselling fee is Rs.800/- for General candidates (for SC/ST/PH candidates the fee is Rs.400/-).

Documents Required

• SSC Memorandum of Marks or Equivalent Examination Certificate.
• Bonafide/Study Certificate from 4^th to 10^th Class.
• Transfer certificate of SSC.
• Non-Municipal (Rural) Area Study Certificate (FORM-I enclosed in this information bulletin) for the students studied in rural area.
• The certified copy of the latest Social Status (Caste) Certificate issued by the competent authority in case of applicants belonging to Backward Classes, Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes.
• Latest Income certificate/EWS certificate issued by concerned authority for the candidates who applied under EWS category only.
• Physically Challenged Certificate, if applicable.
• Discharge Certificate and ID card for Children of Armed Personnel Certificate
• /Defense Personnel Certificate, if applicable.
• National Cadet Corps (NCC) certificate, if applicable.
• Sports and Games Certificates, if applicable.

  Click on the Registration link under application forms after reading the information bulletin thoroughly.
• After registration Candidate needs to fill all details and Submit their Application
