Vacancy Details

The APMSRB has announced a total of 529 tentative vacancies across various roles, including regular and backlog posts. Candidates can check the detailed post-wise vacancy distribution below to understand the availability of positions before applying.

Education Details

Candidates must possess the prescribed academic qualifications as of the date of the notification:

• Staff Nurse: Applicants must hold a B.Sc. in Nursing or a General Nursing & Midwifery (GNM) qualification. They must also have APNMC Registration with an up-to-date renewal.

• Pharmacist: Candidates need a D.Pharma, B.Pharma, or an Intermediate Vocational Course in Pharmacy recognized by the Government of Andhra Pradesh. Registration with the A.P. Pharmacy Council, along with an up-to-date renewal, is mandatory.

• Multi Rehabilitation Worker: A 10+2 or equivalent qualification is required. Candidates must have a one-and-a-half-year certificate course as a Multi Rehabilitation Worker from a recognized university. They must also be registered as Rehabilitation Personnel under the RCI Act, 1992.

Salary Details

• Staff Nurse: Rs. 27,675/- per month.

• Pharmacist: Rs. 23,393/- per month.

• Multi Rehabilitation Worker: Rs. 23,494/- per month.

Age Limit

• Minimum Age: 18 years as on 01/01/2026.

• Maximum Age: 42 years as on 01/01/2026.

• Age Relaxations:

  • SC, ST, BC, and EWS candidates receive a 5-year relaxation.

  • Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PBD) get a 10-year relaxation.

  • Ex-servicemen are permitted to deduct 3 years plus the length of their armed forces service from their age.

Selection Process

The selection will be purely based on merit and the Rule of Reservation. The total evaluation is for 100 marks:

• Qualifying Examination: Accounts for a maximum of 75 Marks.

• Higher Education Weightage: Up to 10 marks are awarded for years passed since the qualifying examination, calculated at 1 mark per PG/Super-specialty completed year.

• Contract Service Weightage: Accounts for 15 marks. It varies by area, such as 5.0 marks per six months for COVID-19 duties, 2.5 marks for Tribal Areas, 2.0 marks for Rural Areas, and 1.0 mark for Urban Areas.

• Select the specific post you wish to apply for.

• Fill in all the required particulars carefully without skipping any mandatory fields.

• Provide a valid primary mobile number and email ID, as all board communications will be sent via SMS and email.

• Proceed to the payment gateway module to pay the application fee using Net Banking, Credit Card, Debit Card, or Mobile wallet.

• After successful payment, wait for the server confirmation and do not press the back or refresh button. Note down the generated final registration number for future use.

• Upload all necessary documents in soft copy (PDF format), such as educational certificates, registration certificates, and caste certificates.

• Verify all entered details meticulously before finally clicking the “SUBMIT” button.
