Education Details
To participate in the recruitment rally, candidates must hold the necessary academic qualifications based on the post they are applying for:
Rifleman/Riflewoman (GD): Must have passed the 10th standard (Matriculation) from a recognized educational board.
Warrant Officer Cipher: Requires candidates to have passed the 12th standard (Intermediate) along with a relevant cipher trade qualification.
Havildar Clerk: Must be a 12th standard pass with proficient computer typing skills.
Technical Trades (EFS, Lineman, Armourer, VM, EMV, Mason, etc.): Requires a 10th or 12th pass certificate along with an ITI or Diploma certificate in the respective specialized trade from a recognized institution.
Salary
Appointed candidates will be compensated under the 7th Pay Commission pay matrix. The basic pay starts at ₹21,700, and the total monthly in-hand salary typically ranges between ₹18,000 and ₹70,000 depending on the specific trade and posting. Employees will also be entitled to Dearness Allowance (DA), Risk Allowance, Hardship Allowance, and other standard service-related perks as per Assam Rifles norms.
Age Limit
The age criteria for applicants will be calculated as of January 1, 2026:

Maximum Age: 28 Years

Selection Process
The selection of candidates will be executed through a multi-stage Recruitment Rally:
Physical Standard Test (PST) & Physical Efficiency Test (PET): Evaluation of physical measurements (height, weight, chest) and a timed running endurance test.
Written Examination: A 100-mark offline objective exam testing English, Reasoning Ability, Quantitative Aptitude, and General Awareness.
Skill/Trade Test: Conducted for candidates applying for clerical or specialized technical trades.
Document Verification: Verification of original educational mark sheets, identity, and the critical Dependency Certificate.
Medical Examination: Final medical fitness screening before issuing appointment letters.

There is no application fee for candidates applying under the Compassionate Ground Appointment Scheme.

Fill in your personal, educational, and family details thoroughly using clear BLOCK LETTERS.
Attach self-attested photocopies of your 10th/12th/ITI/Diploma certificates, Domicile certificate, Caste Certificate (if applicable), Identity Proof (Aadhaar/PAN), and most importantly, the relevant Dependency Certificate.
Affix a recent passport-sized photograph on the form.
