Bihar Police SI Syllabus 2025 Exam Pattern

1. Preliminary Examination

The preliminary exam serves as a screening test. Candidates must score at least 30% marks to qualify for the mains examination.

2. Mains Examination

Candidates who qualify the preliminary exam will appear for the mains examination, which consists of two papers:

  • यह परीक्षा वस्तुनिष्ट प्रश्न (MCQ Type) आधारित होगी.
  • इस परीक्षा में हिंदी और अंग्रेजी दोनों भाषाओं में आयोजित की जाएगी।
  • इस परीक्षा में सभी प्रश्न बहुउद्देश्यीय विकल्प प्रकार के होंगे।
  • इस परीक्षा के लिए आपको 120 + 120 मिनट का समय दिया जाएगा।
  • पेपर I में 30% क्वालिफाइंग मार्क्स होंगे।
  • पेपर- I के ये मार्क्स मेरिट लिस्ट में शामिल नहीं होंगे।
  • पेपर – II में, सामान्य अध्ययन, सामान्य विज्ञान, नागरिक शास्त्र, भारतीय इतिहास, भारतीय भूगोल, गणित और मानसिक योग्यता में 200 अंकों के 100 प्रश्न होंगे।
  • इसके प्रत्येक प्रश्न +1 अंक का होगा।
  • परीक्षा में आपको 400 अंकों के 200 प्रश्न दिए जाएंगे।
  • इस परीक्षा में 1/4 यानि .25 का नकारात्मक अंकन है।
