Applications are invited for the Common Engineering Entrance Test and Admission (CEETA-PG – 2025) to be conducted by Anna University, Chennai on behalf of the Government of Tamil Nadu from the candidates who seek admission to M.E./M.Tech./M.Arch./M.Plan. Degree Programmes for the academic year 2025-2026 offered at University Departments, Constituent Colleges of Anna University, Annamalai University, Government and Government Aided Engineering Colleges only.
A Limited number of monthly Scholarships offered by the Government of Tamil Nadu are available to the students as per merit and following the reservation norms to pursue the higher studies. Technical Institutions funded by the Central Government affiliated to Anna University may also join in this admission process. Self-Financing Engineering Colleges may also use CEETA-PG score for their admission process.
Online Applications are accepted from 24 January 2025 and the Last date for registrations is 21 February 2025. The CEETA PG 2025, Common Engineering Entrance Test & Admission (CEETA) for Postgraduates (PG) will take place on March 23, 2025, between 10 AM to Noon.

CEETA PG 2025: Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates should have passed a bachelor’s degree exam in the relevant field by obtaining at least 50% marks (45% in case of reserved category candidates).
- Those who have a B.E. / B.Tech. / B.Arch. Degree or B.Pharm. Degree or Master’s Degree in the relevant branch of Science / Arts or 10 + 2 + AMIE or 10 + 3 years diploma (awarded by the State Board of Technical Education) + AMIE can also apply.
GATE Category Candidates:
Candidates who have valid GATE score are not eligible for admission in post graduation courses and they do need to write the CEETA PG 2025 exam. GATE qualified candidates in Engineer Science (XE) and Life Science (XL) also have to appear for the CEETA 2025.

- Engineering Mathematics: Determinants and Matrices, Calculus and Differential Equations, Vector Calculus, Functions of Complex Variables and Complex Integration, Transforms, Numerical Methods, Applied Probability.
- Basic Engineering and Sciences: Applied Mechanics, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, Material Science, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computers, and Chemistry.
- Part – III (Group A): Civil Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering/ Information Technology, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Mechanical Engineering.

CEETA PG 2025: Admit Card
The Admit card of CEETA PG 2025 will be published after the completion of application process. It is a necessary document which will mention certain important details about the appearing candidate and the exam. In case any discrepancy arises in the details of the admit card or during downloading the admit card, students must contact the officials immediately.

CEETA PG 2025: Result
The Result of CEETA PG 2025 will be released after the General ability test, creative ability test and interview. The result will be published by online mode. To check the result online and download the scorecard, students have to enter their application number, roll number and date of birth.
The result of the entrance examination shall be announced on the official website of Anna University.
CEETA PG 2025 Counselling
The counselling process of CEETA PG 2025 will start after the Release of CEETA PG 2025 Results. To participate in the counselling process, candidates have to register online first. Only those candidates will be eligible for counselling rounds who will have common merit rank.
The agenda of Anna University counselling will be displayed on the official website of Anna University. For getting admission to Anna University courses, the qualifying candidates must participate in the counselling.
At the time of counseling, document verification of the candidates will also be done.
