CITD Diploma Admissions 2024 Application, Eligibility, Dates

Central Institute of Tool Design (CITD), Balanagar, Hyderabad, invites Applications for Admission into Various Diploma Courses that AICTE approves.

Course details, eligibility for admission, age limit and duration of study are as follows

Diploma in Tool, Die & Mould Making (DTDM)

10^th class with 50% marks (45% for SC /ST)
Age should be between 15 years and 19 years.

(i) Diploma in Electronics & Communication Engineering (DECE)

(ii) Diploma in Automation & Robotics Engineering (DARE)

(iii) Diploma in Production Engineering (DPE)

passed 10^th class
Maximum age is 19 years.

3 years

For all Programs, age is computed as of 20.5.2024. The upper age limit for SC/ST candidates can be relaxed by up to 5 years.

Application Fee is Rs. 800/- (Rs. 400/- for SC/ST Category) which may be paid online.

The training imparted is 25% theory and 75% practicum. The courses are recognized by the State Board of Technical Education & Training, Government of Telangana. Trainees can get admission directly into the second year of B. Tech. Through lateral entry examination after completion of Diploma. The course fee per semester is Rs.22000/-.

Off-line Application: The application form can be downloaded from www.citdindia.org (under the link Long Term Training > Diploma Admissions – 2024) or collected from the CITD Admissions Desk on any working day from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. In such cases, filled-in application forms should reach ‘The Principal Director, CITD, Balanagar, Hyderabad – 500 037’ along with necessary documents, photograph & application fee or can be deposited at the CITD Admissions Desk from 10 am. to 5 pm. Application Fee for Off-line application can be paid online or via a Demand Draft drawn in favor of the Principal Director, CITD, Hyderabad.

Applications will be accepted till 5 pm on 20.05.2024 (Monday).

Selection will be based on an Entrance Examination of 90 minutes duration to be held at Hyderabad on 26.05.2024 (Sunday). Questions will be from (i) Mathematics (ii) Science (iii) English and (iv) Aptitude and General Knowledge of the level of 10^th Standard. Equal weightage will be given to all subjects. Questions will be of MCQ type (Multiple choice Questions) with four options.
