Cochin Shipyard Recruitment 2026: 64 Executive Trainee Posts

Cochin Shipyard Limited (CSL), a premier Mini Ratna Category-I Company under the Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways, has released a massive recruitment notification for 2026. The organization is looking to hire young and dynamic engineering and management graduates for the post of Executive Trainee across various disciplines.

Vacancy Details

A total of 64 vacancies have been announced. The breakdown of posts is as follows:

Mechanical: 31
Electrical: 11
Naval Architecture: 09
Electronics: 04
Civil: 03
Safety: 03
Finance: 02
Human Resource: 01

Eligibility & Age Limit

Educational Qualification: For Engineering posts, candidates must hold a regular B.E./B.Tech degree in the relevant discipline with a minimum of 65% marks. Finance candidates need CA/CMA, while HR applicants require an MBA/PG Degree in HR with 65% marks.
Age Limit: The upper age limit is 27 years (as of February 20, 2026). Age relaxation is applicable for SC/ST (5 years), OBC (3 years), and PwBD candidates as per Government of India norms.

Stipend and Salary Package

Selected candidates will undergo one year of training.

During Training: A monthly stipend of Rs 50,000.
Post Training: Successful candidates will be appointed as Assistant Managers (E-1 Grade). The pay scale will be Rs 40,000 – 1,40,000.
Total CTC: The annual CTC at the start of the E-1 scale is approximately Rs 14.92 Lakhs.

Selection Process

The recruitment will be conducted in two phases:

Phase I: Objective Type Online Test (60 Marks) covering General Awareness, English, Reasoning, and Subject Knowledge.
Phase II: Group Discussion (GD), Writing Skills, and Personal Interview (40 Marks).
