The CSIR – Institute of Himalayan Bioresource Technology (CSIR-IHBT), Palampur (Himachal Pradesh), a constituent laboratory of the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), has officially invited applications for multiple skill-oriented training programs under the CSIR-Integrated Skill Initiative (Phase-III).

Selection Process & Key Guidelines

  1. Application Screening: Received applications will be thoroughly scrutinized based on minimum eligibility requirements.
  2. Interview / Written Test: Shortlisted candidates will be invited for an online or offline interview/test depending on institute requirements.
  3. Single Course Registration: An applicant can register for only one course at a time.
  4. Fee Submission: Selected candidates must submit the prescribed training fee at the time of physical joining.
  5. Certification: Recognized certificates will be awarded to all trainees upon successful completion of the coursework and practical assessments.
  6. Accommodation & Travel: No TA/DA will be admissible for attending interviews or joining. Hostel accommodation is provided on a sharing and payment basis subject to availability (or candidates arrange their own stay for select short courses).

  • Step 2: Fill in all required personal, educational, and experience details carefully.
  • Step 3: Attach a complete set of self-attested copies of qualifying certificates and supporting documents.
  • Step 4: Submit the completed form along with documents via Email to skill.ihbt@csir.res.in or send the hard copy by Post to:
