The DDCET 2026 was conducted as an offline Paper-Based Test (PBT) across multiple designated centers in Gujarat. It acts as the primary gateway for diploma holders seeking seats in government, grant-in-aid, and self-financed technical institutions. The Engineering entrance exam took place on May 5, 2026, while the Pharmacy test was administered on May 9, 2026. Following the examinations, provisional answer keys were published, and after a thorough review by subject experts, the final amended answer keys were officially rolled out on May 20, 2026.

• Candidates earn +2 marks for every correct answer. A negative marking penalty of 0.5 marks applies to incorrect answers or questions where multiple bubbles were filled. Unattempted questions receive zero marks.

• If multiple candidates achieve identical total scores, ACPC implements a sequential tie-breaker rule to determine the final rank. Priority is first given to candidates with higher section-wise marks, followed by those with fewer negative marks, and lastly, the candidate’s age.
