The District Legal Services Authority (DLSA), Civil Court, Bhojpur, Arrah, has announced the recruitment of 140 Para Legal Volunteers (PLVs) for 2026. Please note that this is not a permanent government job. It is a contractual, honorarium-based panel engagement for a tenure of one year.

DLSA Bhojpur Para Legal Volunteer Eligibility Criteria

To be considered for the PLV position, applicants must meet the following mandatory requirements:

• Educational Qualification: Must have passed Matriculation (10th standard) or an equivalent examination.

• Language & Skills: Must possess the ability to read and write Hindi. Candidates with basic computer knowledge will be given preference.

• Residency: Must be a permanent resident of the Bhojpur district.

• Character: Must be physically and mentally healthy with a good moral character.

• Social Commitment: Must have a genuine interest in social service and possess no active political affiliations.

• Ineligibility: Practicing advocates are strictly prohibited from applying.

Note: Retired government servants, teachers, senior citizens, students, doctors, Anganwadi workers, and members of NGOs or Self-Help Groups (like Jeevika) are highly encouraged to apply.

Selection Process

There is no written examination for this recruitment. Candidates will be evaluated through a direct interview conducted by the District Judge-cum-Chairman of DLSA.

Venue: The interview will be held in the chamber at the Civil Court, Bhojpur, Arrah.

Exact interview dates will be published later on the DLSA notice board and the Bhojpur District Court website. Candidates will not receive travel allowances (TA/DA) to attend the interview.

Candidates must enclose the following items with their application form:

• Self-attested photocopies of educational certificates and mark sheets.
• Proof of Date of Birth (usually the 10th-grade certificate).
• Proof of residence in Bhojpur District.
• A valid Photo ID Proof (Aadhaar, Voter ID, or PAN).
• Two recent passport-size photographs (one affixed to the application and self-attested, and one spare).
• Mandatory: A self-addressed envelope affixed with a ₹55 postage stamp.
