ECR Recruitment 2025 for 1154 Apprentice Posts
ONLINE applications are invited from interested candidates for engagement as Act Apprentices for imparting training under the Apprentice Act 1961 in the designated trades at Divisions/Units in the jurisdiction of East Central Railway against 1154 slots. Applications complete in all respects should be submitted only ONLINE till 23:59 hrs of the closing date i.e., 14 February 2025.

Eligibility Criteria for ECR Apprentice Notification
Interested Job Aspirants who are ready to apply for East Central Railway 2025 Notification must possess the below-given Eligibility Details.
Educational Qualifications
The candidate must have passed Matric/10th class examination or its equivalent (under 10+2 examination system) with minimum 50% marks in aggregate, from recognized Board and ITI in relevant trade (i.e National Trade Certificate in the notified trade issued by National Council for Vocational Training or Provisional Certificate issued by National Council for Vocational Training/State Council for Vocational Training).
Age Limit
The candidates should have completed 15 years of age and should not have completed 24 years of age as on 01.01.2025.

- For SC/ST: 05 Years
- OBC: 03 Years
- PWD Persons: 10 Years

Stipend Details
Selected candidates will get Stipend As per Govt Norms by the Recruiting Organization.
Selection Process
Selection for Apprenticeship training will be on the basis of merit list prepared in respect of all the candidates who apply against the notification for a particular Division/Unit. The merit list will be prepared taking the average of the %age marks obtained by the candidates in both Matriculation with minimum 50% (aggregate marks) and ITI examination giving equal weightage to both.
