Goa CET 2020: GCET is also known as Goa Common Entrance Test. It will be conducted by Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Goa. It is a statelevel which is conducted in offline mode. Candidates who aspire to get admissions to Professional Degree courses in Engineering and Pharmacy, in the state government/aided engineering colleges of Goa stateshould clear this entrance exam.The board has released the application form of GCET 2020 from 25th March, 2020.The exam has been planned to be conducted on May 5 and 6, 2020. The admission of the candidates will be on the basis of their score in the entrance exam. Candidates applying for MBBS, BDS, BHMS (Homeopathy), BAMS (Ayurveda), Allied Health Sciences (Paramedical), & B.Sc. in Nursing courses have to qualify in NEET UG.  GCET 2020: Eligibility Criteria

The Candidate should be of Indian national but Non-resident Indians holding Indian passport can also apply for seats reserved under NRI quota. The Candidates must have completed the age of 17 years on or before 31st December, 2020. The applicant should have passed 12th exam with Science as main subject or equivalent examination with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks. A relaxation of 10% marks is given for candidates belonging to reserved categories.

The applicant should select “Form A” For applying to GCET based professional degree courses in Engineering & Pharmacy 2020-21. What is the counselling process of GCET 2020?

The results will be announced on 15th May 2020. A merit list is prepared based on the candidate’s score in the entrance exam. This merit list is announced on 14th June, 2020 by the board in their official website. The candidates who are present in the final merit list should appear for counselling process along with their admit card, educational documents and passport size photos. The admission will be based on the merit list. After document verification, the board will announce the admission list for the seats.
