Vacancy Details

GRID-INDIA has announced 52 vacancies distributed across its Corporate Centre and Regional Load Dispatch Centres (RLDCs). Candidates can apply for Electrical, Computer Science/IT, HR, Civil, and Finance disciplines depending on the region’s requirement.

Education Qualification

Candidates must have passed their final examination within two years from the closing date of the application. The required qualifications per discipline are:

• Electrical: Full-Time Regular B.E./B.Tech/B.Sc (Engg.) in Electrical Engineering (4-year course).
• Computer Science / IT: Full-Time Regular B.E./B.Tech/B.Sc (Engg.) in Comp. Sci./ IT Engineering (4-year course).
• Civil: Full-Time Regular B.E./B.Tech/B.Sc (Engg.) in Civil Engineering (4-year course).
• HR: Full-Time Regular B.A./ BBA/ B.Com (3-year course).
• Finance: Full-Time Regular B.A./ BBA/ B.Com (3-year course).

Stipend

• Selected Graduate Apprentices will receive a monthly stipend of Rs. 20,000/-.

• Note: No HRA or accommodation will be provided.

Age Limit

• Upper Age Limit: 28 years as of the closing date of application (08.02.2026).

• Minimum Age: Candidates must have completed 18 years of age.

• Age relaxation is applicable for reserved categories as per Government of India guidelines.

Selection Process

The selection will be based on merit and an interview. The weightage is distributed as follows:

1. Academic Merit (85%): Based on the percentage of marks obtained in the prescribed degree.

2. Personal Interview (15%): Shortlisted candidates will be called for document verification and an interview.

Grid-India Apprentice Recruitment 2026 How to Apply

Interested candidates must follow these steps to apply:

1. First, register on the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS) portal at https://nats.education.gov.in/ and obtain an Enrolment Number.
2. Go to the GRID-INDIA website (www.grid-india.in) and navigate to Careers → Engagement of Apprentices → Apply Online.
3. Enter your details, including the NATS enrolment number. Ensure your Name and DOB match your Matriculation and Aadhaar records.
4. Upload scanned copies of your photograph, signature, educational certificates, proof of age, caste certificate (if applicable), Aadhaar, PAN, and bank details (cancelled cheque/passbook).
5. Apply for only one location of your choice. Multiple applications will be rejected.
6. Submit the form online. No hard copies need to be sent.
