డా. వై. యస్. ఆర్. ఉద్యాన విశ్వవిద్యాలయము (Dr. Y.S.R Horticultural University) invites applications from Diploma in Horticulture candidates for admission into four year B.Sc. (Hons.) Horticulture Degree program through HORTICET 2025 for the academic year 2025- 26. Aspirants willing to apply for the Horticulture Common Entrance Test (HORTICET) 2025 can submit their applications from July 1, 2025, to July 21, 2025. The Dr. YSR Horticultural University – Horticulture Common Entrance Test (HORTICET) 2025 Examination is scheduled to be conducted on August 20, 2025.
Dr YSRHU AP HORTICET 2025 Notification PDF
Dr. Y.S.R. Horticulture University has released a notification for AP HORTICET for the academic year 2025–26. The application forms are also provided along with the Notification Booklet. Education Qualification
A pass in Diploma in Horticulture course from Dr. YSRHU.
Those who will complete the Diploma requirements in the 2024-25 academic year can also apply. Still, the Final Memorandum of Marks-cum-Pass Certificate of Diploma in Horticulture must be submitted during Admission counselling.
Basis of Allotment: Based on HORTICET- 2025 Rank following the Presidential Order & Rule of Reservation.
Age Limit as on 31st December 2025

Application Fee
The candidates shall apply for admission in the prescribed proforma with an application fee of Rs. 500/- for SC/ST and differently abled (PHC) candidates and Rs. 1000/- for all other candidates. The payment shall be made through online to the Dr.YSRHU Account as detailed below or by Demand Draft drawn in favour of the “COMPTROLLER, Dr.YSRHU, payable at TADEPALLIGUDEM” on any Nationalized Bank.

The total number of seats allotted to diploma holders is 15% of the seats of B.Sc (Hons.) Horticulture: i.e., 91 seats (61 Uni. College seats + 30 Pvt. College Seats)

Reservation

- The above seats will be allocated in the ratio of 85% for local candidates and the remaining 15% of seats will be treated as an unreserved quota.

All the eligible candidates interested in applying can fill out the application form. Application form duly filled in should reach “The Registrar, Dr.Y.S.R Horticultural University, Venkataramannagudem-534101, West Godavari District, Andhra Pradesh on or before 21-07-2025 by 4.00 PM either in person or by post.
Applications received after the last date will not be entertained and Dr. YSRHU is not responsible for any postal delay.

- Date of Birth Certificate
- Attested copies of the marks statement of 10th standard and Diploma in Horticulture Course.
- The latest Conduct Certificate issued by the Head of the Institute last attended that he/she has never been found guilty of misconduct during the study period and has never been fined or punished.
- The latest Caste Certificate (In the case of SC/ST/BC) issued by the Mandal Revenue Officer / Tahsildar
- Certificates issued by the concerned authorities of the State in the case of Special categories like Physically (Saderam Certificate) Disabled persons, NCC and CAP
- The latest EWS (Reservation for Economically Weaker Section) Certificate (valid for the year 2025-24) issued by the Mandal Revenue Officer / Tahsildar
- Three passport-size photographs (pasted on the application form and Hall ticket).
- Proof of payment receipt for the application fee.
