Education Details
Candidates applying for the JBT posts must fulfill the following educational requirements:
Must have passed 10+2 with a minimum of 50% marks alongside a 2-year Junior Basic Teacher (JBT) course or Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed).
Alternatively, candidates with a Senior Secondary degree (50% marks) and a 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.) or a 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education) are also eligible.
Graduates holding a 2-year JBT/D.El.Ed. degree or Post-Graduates with at least 55% marks and a 3-year integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed. are eligible to apply.
All candidates are required to pass the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) conducted by the HP Board of School Education or another authorized government agency.
Applicants must have completed their Matriculation and 10+2 from an institution located within Himachal Pradesh (this condition is waived for Bonafide Himachalis).
Salary
