IOCL Pipelines Division Apprentice Recruitment 2025 Vacancy Details
Indian Oil is hiring 394 apprentices across five pipeline regions: Eastern, Western, Northern, Southern, and South Eastern. The vacancies cover diverse trades including Technician (Mechanical, Electrical, T&I), Human Resources, Accounts, and Data Entry Operations.

Education Qualification
Candidates must possess the following qualifications from a government-recognized institute as of the cutoff date, 31.01.2026. Full-time courses are mandatory; part-time or distance learning is not accepted.
Technician Apprentice (Mechanical): 3-Year Diploma in Mechanical or Automobile Engineering.
Technician Apprentice (Electrical): 3-Year Diploma in Electrical or Electrical & Electronics Engineering.
Technician Apprentice (Telecommunication & Instrumentation): 3-Year Diploma in Electronics & Communication, Electronics & Telecommunication, Instrumentation & Control, or related fields.
Trade Apprentice (Assistant-HR): Full-Time Bachelor’s Degree (Graduation).
Trade Apprentice (Accountant): Full-Time Bachelor’s Degree (Graduation) in Commerce.
Data Entry Operator (Fresher): Minimum 12th Pass (but below Graduate).
Domestic Data Entry Operator (Skill Certificate): Minimum 12th Pass plus a valid Skill Certificate for ‘Domestic Data Entry Operator’.
IOCL Apprentice Stipend
Selected apprentices will receive a monthly stipend as prescribed under the Apprentices Act, 1961/1973 and Apprenticeship Rules, 1992 (as amended). No other allowances such as HRA or accommodation will be provided.
Age Limit
- Minimum Age: 18 Years
- Maximum Age: 24 Years
Cut-off Date: Age is calculated as on 31.01.2026.
Age Relaxation:
- SC/ST: 5 Years
- OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): 3 Years
- PwBD: 10 Years (up to 15 years for SC/ST PwBD and 13 years for OBC PwBD).
Selection Process
The selection will be based purely on merit. There will be No Written Test or Personal Interview.
Merit List: A panel will be prepared based on the aggregate percentage of marks obtained in the qualifying degree/diploma.
Document Verification: Shortlisted candidates must undergo verification of original documents and medical fitness certification before engagement.

Data Entry Operators: Register on the NAPS portal (apprenticeshipindia.gov.in).
Note: After registering, login to the respective portal and apply for the Indian Oil opportunity using the Establishment ID for your region (e.g., Eastern Region: EWBKOC000079).
Step 2: Apply on IOCL Pipeline Portal
Visit the official website: plapps.indianoilpipelines.in.
Part-I Registration: Fill in basic details to generate a Registration Number and Password.
Part-II Registration: Log in with your new credentials. Upload your photograph (20-50 KB) and signature (10-30 KB).
Enter your NATS/NAPS Registration Number in the application form.
Submit the form and take a printout for future reference.
