Education Details
Candidates must have passed Matriculation (10th Class) from a recognized Board or Institution.
The qualification must be obtained on or before the application deadline.
Salary (Pay Scale)
Selected candidates will be placed in Pay Level-2.
Pay Scale: ₹19,900 – ₹63,200.
In addition to the basic pay, employees are entitled to various allowances like DA, HRA, and Medical allowances as per J&K Government rules.

Maximum Age: 28 Years
Age Relaxations:
In-Service Police Personnel: Up to 30 Years
Volunteer Home Guards (VHG) / SPOs: Up to 40 Years

Selection Process
The recruitment involves a multi-stage process to ensure the best candidates are selected:
Written Examination: Objective-type Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs).
Physical Standard Test (PST): Measurement of height and chest (for males).
Physical Endurance Test (PET): Long race (1600m for males / 1000m for females) and push-ups/shot put.
Document Verification & Medical Examination: Final stage before the merit list.

The PST involves the measurement of height and chest to ensure candidates meet the department’s physical requirements.
