Eligibility Criteria
For Non-Professional Courses, Law, Library & Info. Sc., and Physical Education:
Candidates must possess a Master’s Degree with at least 55% marks in the relevant subject.
A 5% relaxation in marks is applicable for SC/ST/PWD category candidates.
Applicants must have cleared NET/SET/SLET or hold a Ph.D. awarded by a recognized University.
For Professional Courses (Pharmacy):
Candidates must hold a B. Pharmacy degree.
Registration as a Pharmacist under the Pharmacy Act is mandatory.
Applicants must possess a Master’s degree in the appropriate specialization branch of Pharmacy.
Alternatively, candidates with a Ph.D. and a First Class degree at either the Bachelor’s or Master’s level in the appropriate Pharmacy branch are also eligible.
Remuneration
Theory Classes: Rs. 700/- per period.
Practical Classes: Rs. 350/- per clock hour.
Selection Process
The selection will be based on an assessment totaling 100 marks. The marks distribution is as follows:
UG: Maximum 16 marks.
PG: Maximum 24 marks.
M.Phil./NET/SET/SLET: Maximum 10 marks.
Ph.D.: Maximum 10 marks.
Teaching Experience: Maximum 10 marks (2 marks awarded per year of experience).
Publications: Maximum 10 marks (2 marks awarded per published paper).
Demonstration: Maximum 10 marks.
Interview Performance: Maximum 10 marks.
