The selection for KVS teaching posts involves two main stages:

  1. Written Examination (CBT) – All candidates for PRT, TGT and PGT will appear for a common computer‑based test covering language proficiency, general awareness, reasoning, pedagogy and subject‑specific knowledge.

  2. Interview / Skill / Document Verification – After the written test, shortlisted candidates may be called for interview or skill test, and final selection will depend on performance across stages and verification of eligibility.

This two‑tier process ensures that candidates are assessed not only for subject knowledge but also teaching aptitude and suitability for the school environment.
