The Maharashtra State Co-operative Bank Ltd. has announced 139 vacancies across multiple roles. These positions are distributed among Trainee Junior Officers, Associates, Typists, and Drivers to strengthen the bank’s workforce across its regional offices and branches.

Education Qualification & Experience

• Trainee Junior Officers: Candidates must hold a Graduation degree in any discipline with at least 50% marks and have passed Matriculation with Marathi. A minimum of 2 years of banking experience as an Officer is mandatory.

• Trainee Associates: A Graduation degree in any discipline with at least 50% marks is required, alongside passing Matriculation with Marathi. Proficiency in computer applications is essential.

• Trainee Typists: Candidates must be Graduates who passed Matriculation with Marathi. They must possess a Government Commercial Certificate Exam for 30 w.p.m in Marathi typing and 40 w.p.m. in English typing, plus computer proficiency.

• Trainee Drivers: Applicants must have passed Matriculation (10th standard) with Marathi as a subject and hold a valid Light Motor Vehicle (LMV) license.

Salary Details

Selected candidates will undergo a 12-month training period followed by a 6-month probation before confirmation.

• Trainee Junior Officers: Stipend of Rs. 30,000/- per month during training. Post-training total emoluments will be approximately Rs. 52,100/- per month.

• Trainee Associates: Stipend of Rs. 25,000/- per month during training. Post-training total emoluments will be approximately Rs. 34,400/- per month.

• Trainee Typists: Stipend of Rs. 25,000/- per month during training. Post-training total emoluments will be approximately Rs. 34,400/- per month, plus a typist allowance of Rs. 650/- per month.

• Trainee Drivers: Stipend of Rs. 22,000/- per month during training. Post-training total emoluments will be approximately Rs. 27,700/- per month.

Age Limit (as of 01.06.2026)

• Trainee Junior Officers: 23 to 35 years.

• Trainee Associates: 21 to 32 years.

• Trainee Typists: 21 to 28 years.

• Trainee Drivers: 18 to 30 years.

Selection Process

The selection will be conducted by IBPS and the Bank through a multi-stage process.

1. Online Examination: Objective tests tailored to the specific role (Professional Knowledge, Reasoning, English, General Awareness, Numerical Ability). Note that there is a negative marking of 0.25 (or 1/4th) for wrong answers in tests with five options.

2. Skill Test / Driving Test: Typists will undergo a typing skill test (Phase II), and Drivers will undergo a driving test.

3. Personal Interview: Shortlisted candidates (except Typists, whose merit is based on the Skill Test) will be called for an interview based on their online exam scores.
