MHT CET 2026: MHT CET 2026 is being conducted by State Common Entrance Test Cell on behalf of the Directorate of Technical Education, Maharashtra. The State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra, will conduct MHT CET 2026 from 16th April 2026 to 30th April 2026. Candidates seeking admission to the undergraduate engineering programs should fill out the MHT CET 2026 application form from 16th January 2026 to 1st March 2026.

MHT CET 2026: Important Dates
The entrance exam for the engineering, agriculture, and pharmacy programme will be held from May 9 to May 20. Meanwhile, the MHT CET for the PCM (Physics, Chemistry, Maths) group is scheduled to take place on May 9, 10, 11, 12, and 13. While the exam for PCB (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) group will be held on May 15, 16, 17, 18, 19 and 20. The Maharashtra CET Cell also holds entrance exams for hospitality, management, higher education, and others for undergraduate and postgraduate candidates.
MHT CET 2026: Eligibility Criteria
- The candidate should be a citizen of India.
- There is no age limit to appear in MHT CET 2021.
- Candidate must have passed HSC/class XII exam or its equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects with any one of the subjects – Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/Technical/Vocational subjects.
- Candidates appearing in the qualifying examination (HSC/XII) in 2021 are considered eligible.
- Candidates must have secured a minimum of 50% marks (for General Category) and at least 45% marks (for reserved category and Persons with Disability candidates) in aggregate of 5 subjects.
- Female candidates are not eligible for a mining engineering course.
