MP Board Pre Board Exam 2025-26 Time Table: The Directorate of Public Instruction, Madhya Pradesh has released the timetable and guidelines for the MP Board Pre Board Exam 2025-26. The Class 10th pre-board exams will be held from January 6, 2026, to January 13, 2026, and the Class 12th exams will be held from January 5, 2026, to January 13, 2026. Exams will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., and after each exam, classes will be conducted to prepare for the next subject.

The pre-board examination question papers are based on the marking scheme issued by the Board of Secondary Education and the pattern of the board examination, so that students can practice solving the question papers within the stipulated time.
In this regard, ensure compliance with the following instructions: Pre-board examinations should be conducted as per the attached schedule. (Appendix 1 and 2)

  1. The list of question papers to be made available at the state level, medium-wise, is as follows (Appendix 3). These will be made available on the Principal’s login on the Vimarsh portal one day before the exam day.
  2. Each question paper will be protected by an OTP. The OTP will be sent to the principal’s mobile number when downloading the question paper.
  3. The school principal will have the question papers photocopied/printed according to the number of students. A teacher will be authorized to perform the photocopying/printing. He will be present at the shop during the photocopying/printing process and will ensure the photocopying/printing process is completed in his/her presence.
  4. Question papers of subjects other than those mentioned in Appendix-3 should be prepared by the subject teacher at the school level as per the requirement based on the marking scheme issued by the Board of Secondary Education.
  5. Along with the pre-board examination, the Principal should make the students practice by preparing model papers issued by the Board of Secondary Education and other sets of question papers at the school level.
  6. Apart from the High School subjects mentioned in the time table, the Principal should conduct the examination of other subjects between 06.01.2026 to 13.01.2026 and Higher Secondary examination between 05.01.2026 to 13.01.2026 by setting the time table at his level.
  7. During the examination, classes of class 9th and 11th will be conducted as usual.
  8. After the examination, the subject teacher should evaluate the answer sheets and make the students observe the evaluated answer sheets by pointing out their errors and get the subject teacher to teach the questions which the students are not able to solve or the questions in which there are errors and make the students practice them.
  9. On 19.01.2026, organize a PTM and inform the parents about the students’ exam results and allow them to inspect the evaluated answer sheets. 28 On this day, the Divisional Joint Director and the District Education Officer should form separate teams and visit at least 10 schools each and ensure that the report is sent to the Directorate through the Divisional Joint Director.
  10. Ensure that the results of the Pre-Board Examination are uploaded on the Vimarsh Portal by 21.01.2026.
  11. The Principal must get the difficult points marked by the subject teacher on the basis of the results and question papers of the pre-board examination and organize special classes accordingly.

Instructions:

  1. As per the time table, after the examination every day, teaching of the subject of the next day’s examination should be ensured.
  2. The Principal should conduct the examination of the remaining subjects and vocational subjects between 05.01.2026 to 13.01.2026 by getting the question papers prepared by the subject teacher and by setting the time table at his own level.
  3. If a local holiday is declared in any district during the examination schedule, the examination for such subject should be conducted as per Instruction A.2.
  4. For those students who have opted for both English and Sanskrit subjects, examination of any one subject should be conducted as per Instruction A.2.
  5. It will be mandatory for the candidates to be present in the examination hall 30 minutes before the commencement of the examination.
  6. Answer sheets should be distributed to the students 10 minutes before the commencement of the examination and question papers 5 minutes before.
