Vacancy Details

The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences is looking to fill a total of 53 vacancies across various Group A, B, and C categories. Candidates can check the post-wise distribution for technical, administrative, and clerical roles before submitting their applications online.

Education Details

Eligibility varies depending on the specific post a candidate is applying for. The generalized educational requirements are as follows:

• Deputy Director: Medical qualification or a Post Graduate Degree in a relevant discipline from a recognized university.

• Junior Programmer: B.E. / B.Tech / BCA / MCA / Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology.

• Junior Accountant: Bachelor’s Degree with Mathematics, Statistics, or a Degree in Commerce from a recognized university.

• Stenographer: 12th standard pass with shorthand and stenography skill speeds as per government norms.

• Junior Assistant: 12th standard pass from a recognized board with proficiency in basic computer software packages.

Salary Details

Selected candidates will be compensated under the 7th Central Pay Commission (CPC):

• Group A Posts: Pay Matrix Level-10 / Level-11

• Group B Posts: Pay Matrix Level-7 (₹44,900 – ₹1,42,400)

• Group C Posts (Stenographer/Jr Accountant): Pay Matrix Level-4 (₹25,500 – ₹81,100)

• Group C Posts (Jr Assistant): Pay Matrix Level-2 (₹19,900 – ₹63,200)

Age Limit

• Minimum Age: 18 years

• Maximum Age: 27 years for Group C posts (Junior Assistant, Stenographer, Junior Accountant); up to 35 years for higher Group A and B posts.

• Note: Maximum age relaxation is applicable for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD categories according to government guidelines.

Selection Process

The NBEMS recruitment selection will be conducted in multiple stages:

1. Stage 1 (Computer Based Test): A written CBT will be conducted for all eligible candidates.

2. Stage 2 (Skill/Interview Test): A Skill Test / Typing Test for Group C posts (Stenographer & Junior Assistant), and an Interview for Group A posts.

3. Stage 3: Document Verification (DV).

4. Stage 4: Medical Examination.
