NCET 2024 registration was Started on 13th April 2024. The Online Application process for the National Common Entrance Test (NCET) 2024 will close on 15th May 2024. The National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct an Admission Test for Admissions to 4-Year Integrated Teacher Education Programme (ITEP) in selected Central/State Universities/Institutions, including IITs, NITs, RIEs, and Government Colleges, for the Academic Session 2024-25 on 12th June 2024. The Test will be conducted in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode in 178 cities and 13 mediums across India.
What is NCET 2024
NCET 2024 is an Admission test for admission to 4-Year Integrated Teacher Education Programme (ITEP)- The National Testing Agency has been entrusted with the responsibility of conducting the National Common Entrance Test (NCET) and inviting Online Applications of the National Common Entrance Test (NCET) for admission to 4-Year Integrated Teacher Education Programme (ITEP) in selected Central/State University/Institutions including IITs, NITs, RIEs, and Government Colleges for the Academic Session 2024-25.

NCET 2024: Eligibility Criteria
There is no age limit for appearing in the NCET 2024. Candidates who have passed the class 12 /equivalent examination or are appearing in 2024 can appear in the NCET 2024 examination regardless of age. However, the candidates will be required to fulfill the age criteria (if any) of the University / Institution / Government College to which they are desirous of taking admission.
List of Qualifying Examinations (QE)
- The final examination of the 10+2 system, conducted by any recognized Central/ State Board, such as the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi; Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations, New Delhi; etc.
- An intermediate or two-year pre-university examination is conducted by a recognized board/university.
- Final examination of the two-year course of the Joint Services Wing of the National Defence Academy
- Senior Secondary School Examination conducted by the National Institute of Open Schooling with a minimum of five subjects.
- The Association of Indian Universities (AIU) recognizes any public school/ Board/ University examination in India or any foreign country as equivalent to the 10+2 system.
- Higher Secondary Certificate Vocational Examination.
- Candidates who have completed the Class 12 (or equivalent) examination outside India or from a Board not specified above should produce a certificate from the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) to the effect that the examination they have passed is equivalent to the Class 12 Examination.

NCET 2024: Admit Card
The NCET 2024 admit card will be published after the application process is completed. It is a necessary document that mentions certain important details about the appearing candidate and the exam. In case any discrepancy arises in the details of the admit card or during downloading the admit card, students must contact the officials immediately.
NCET 2024: Result
The result of NCET 2024 will be released after the General ability test, creative ability test, and interview. The result will be published online. To check the result online and download the scorecard, students have to enter their application number, roll number and date of birth. The entrance examination result shall be announced on NTA’s official website.
