The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the registration details and schedule for the National Council for Hotel Management Joint Entrance Examination (NCHM JEE) 2026. This entrance exam is conducted for admission to the B.Sc. (Hospitality & Hotel Administration) course, which is a three-year program recognized by JNU.
NCHM JEE 2026 Overview
NTA will conduct NCHM JEE exam to fill seats in 21 central institutes of hotel management, 33 state government institutes, one public sector undertaking, two PPP run SIHMs, and 25 private institutes of hotel management as a computer-based test (CBT) on April 25, 2026 in 120 exam cities across the country. The exam timings will be from 11 am to 1 pm. The Application process will end on January 25, 2026.

Exam Details and Pattern
The examination consists of 120 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) in total. The paper is divided into the following sections:
- English Language: 45 Questions
- Aptitude for Service Sector: 30 Questions
- Numerical Ability and Analytical Aptitude: 15 Questions
- Reasoning and Logical Deduction: 15 Questions
- General Knowledge & Current Affairs: 15 Questions
Marking Scheme:
- Correct Response: +4 marks
- Incorrect Response: -1 mark
- Unanswered: 0 marks
NCHM JEE 2026 Eligibility Details
Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed the 10+2 system of Senior Secondary Examination (or equivalent) with English as one of the subjects.
Mandatory English: Candidates must have passed English as a core, elective, or functional subject in the qualifying exam.
Appearing Candidates: Those appearing in the 10+2 or equivalent examination in 2026 can apply on a provisional basis. Proof of passing must be submitted by September 30, 2026.
Age Limit: There is no age restriction for appearing in NCHM JEE 2026 as per the New Education Policy.
Physical Fitness: Candidates must submit a physical fitness certificate from a Registered Medical Practitioner at the time of admission.

NCHM JEE 2026 How to Apply
Applications must be submitted through “Online” mode only. The steps are as follows:
Registration: Use your own Email ID and Mobile Number to register and generate an Application Number.
Complete Application: Fill in personal details, educational qualifications, and choice of four exam cities.
Upload Documents: Upload a recent photograph (10kb–200kb), signature (10kb–100kb), and category/PwD certificates if applicable.
Fee Payment: Pay the fee online via Credit Card, Debit Card, Net Banking, UPI, or Wallet.
Confirmation: Download and print the Confirmation Page after successful payment.
