Education Qualification
Candidates must possess one of the following qualifications from a recognized institution:
- Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS)
- Bachelor of Unani Medicine and Surgery (BUMS)
- B.Sc Nursing
- B.Sc in Community Health
For BAMS/BUMS, candidates must have completed an internship and be registered with the respective council. For Nursing candidates, a valid registration with the State Nursing Council is required.

Age Limit
Candidates must be between 18 and 38 years of age, with relaxation provided for reserved categories. The maximum age limit is 43 years for reserved categories and up to 45 years for Persons with Disabilities.
Selection Process
The selection process includes:
- Online Computer Based Test (CBT) covering professional knowledge, general knowledge, and NHM-related topics.
- Document Verification
- Completion of a 6-month training program, followed by an exit exam.
Successful candidates will be appointed after completing the training and passing the exit exam.
Application Fee
Applicants are required to pay a non-refundable application fee:
- Unreserved Category: ₹1,000
- Reserved Category: ₹900
- Ex-Servicemen: Exempted
Salary Details
During the training period, selected candidates will receive a stipend of ₹10,000 per month. Upon successful completion of the training, the salary will increase to ₹25,000 per month, with the possibility of earning up to ₹15,000 in performance-based incentives.
