Master Part A First: Many candidates fail because they neglect the qualifying Punjabi paper. Dedicate 30 minutes daily to reading Punjabi newspapers or grammar books (10th standard level) to ensure you comfortably cross the 50% mark.
Focus on “Punjab GK”: A large chunk of the General Awareness section comes from Punjab’s history and culture. Create a timeline of the Sikh Gurus and major battles to retain facts better.
Accuracy over Speed: With 0.25 negative marking, avoiding guesses is crucial. In the Math section, use short tricks for topics like Profit/Loss to save time for complex Reasoning puzzles.
Computer Proficiency: Since a 120-hour computer course is an eligibility requirement, practical questions on MS Excel formulas or keyboard shortcuts are common. Practice these on a PC rather than just reading theory.
