REET is an Entrance Examination for Teachers. Candidates who are Qualified with 60% in REET are eligible to get a teaching post in their respective subject. REET 2022 – Eligibility
Primary level teacher (for class 1-5)
- Candidates should be Qualified in the 12th Class Examination with at least 50% marks or should be graduate in any recognized university in the state.
- Candidates should have 2 yrs Diploma in Elementary Education or 4 yrs diploma in B.EI.Ed, Candidates who are appearing for the final year examination can also apply for this
secondary level teacher (for class 6-8)
- Candidates should be Qualified in the Graduation with at least 50 % of marks and must be passed in 1yr in B.Ed.
- Candidates should have 2 yrs Diploma in Elementary Education or 4 yrs diploma in B.EI.Ed, Candidates who are appearing for the final year examination can also apply for this

- Candidates who are appearing in the final year of B. Ed. Course and scored 50% marks in the senior secondary are also eligible to apply

- Senior Secondary with at least 50% marks and appearing in the final year of 4-year B.A/B.Sc.Ed or B.A. Ed./B.Sc.Ed.
