Telangana IIIT Merit List 2025: IIIT Basara has announced the selection list for the counselling round 3 on its official website at www.rgukt.ac.in on July 23, 2025. The counselling process will start on July 7. Earlier, RGUKT invited applications for admission into various 6-year integrated B.Tech courses for the academic year 2025-26. All aspirants who have applied for RAGUKT IIIT Basara Admissions 2025 can check the selection list for Phase 1: Admission Certificate Verification. RGUKT is the full form of Rajiv Gandhi University of Knowledge and Technology.
Those who are on the Provisional Selection List are instructed to report to the Venue of counseling, i.e., RGUKT, Basar Campus (Venue: AB-1), Nirmal (District), Telangana, as per the schedule below, following the provisional selection list published on the website.
RGUKT IIIT Basar Seat Allotment
A Total of 20258 Candidates were Applied till Last date for IIIT Basar Admissions for the academic year 2025-26. The Last date was June 21, 2025. One thousand five hundred seats are available for 1st-year admissions at Basar IIIT. The Year-wise Applications received are given below.
- 2020–21: 32,000 Applications
- 2021–22: 20,178 Applications
- 2022–23: 31,432 Applications
- 2023–24: 32,635 Applications
- 2024–25: 15,000 Applications
- 2025–26: 20,258 Applications
Basar Counselling Schedule 2025
It is the responsibility of the students/parents to make all suitable travel arrangements so as to reach the University by 09.00 AM on the above-said date(s).
Documents to be carried for IIIT Basara Counselling
- The candidates shall bring the following documents /certificates in original along with TWO sets of the Xerox copies.
- Hall Ticket of 10th Class Board Examination.
- Grade Sheet of 10th Class Board Examination.
- Study certificates (from 4th class to 10th Class)
- Candidates claiming admission under Non-local Category have to submit a Residence Certificate as a proof to effect that the candidate have resided in the state for a total period of 10 years excluding periods of study outside the state or either of whose parents have resided in the state for a total period of 10 years excluding period of employment outside the state.
- Caste/Community certificate issued by the competent authority (Meeseva Only).
- Income Certificate (latest and issued after 01.04.2022 from Meeseva Only).
- Economically Weaker Sections(EWS) certificate who claim EWS reservation from competent authority.
- Six passport size photographs of the candidate and two photographs of the parents.
- Xerox copies of family Ration Card.
- Aadhar UID Card or EID of the candidate.
- The candidates who wish to avail bank loan shall bring the following documents (The loan applications will be available at the bank in the campus)
- Additional four sets of copies of the above certificates.
- Employee Identity Card of the parent.
- Three months salary Certificates of the parent (Latest).
- PAN card of Student and Parent.
- Ration Card / PAN Card / Voter Id Card /Aadhar Card of the Student and Parent.
- Bank account statement for last six months.
- Six photographs of the candidate and four photographs of the Parent/Guardian.
RGUKT IIIT Basara Admission Fee
The following is the fee structure for each student who is admitted into the university’s 6–Year Integrated B.Tech programme.

Students who are eligible for fee reimbursement as per the stipulated State Government rules need not pay tuition fee of Rs. 36,000/- whose parental annual income is specified below for eligibility of scholarship.

Selection Method for IIIT Basar Admissions 2025-26
Admissions to the first year of Integrated B Tech Program (2025-26) will be based on merit in the Grade Point Average (GPA) and Grade obtained in each subject in 10th class, and by following the statutory reservations of the State. A deprivation score of 0.4 prescribed by the Government for the year 2025-26 under Statute 13 (3) shall be added to the 10th class GPA of those applicants who studied in non-residential Government Schools including the Zilla Parishad and Municipal Schools, to provide weightage to the socio economically challenged students in the admission process.
At RGUKT, Basar, admissions to 85% of the total available seats shall be reserved for the Local Candidates (Telangana State) and the remaining 15% of the seats shall be un-reserved (these seats will be filled with both States Telangana and Andhra Pradesh students based on merit) as specified in the Presidential Order 371 Article D in consonance to Section 95 of the A.P. Reorganization Act, 2014.
In case of a tie in GPA score, it will be resolved by adopting the following options in that sequence:
- higher grade in Mathematics,
- higher grade in General Science,
- higher grade in English,
- higher grade in Social Studies,
- higher grade in Language-I,
- the older candidate as per the Date of Birth,
- the lowest random number obtained from the hall ticket number.
If the tie is resolved with any of the check-ins in the chronological order mentioned above, the next option(s) will not be checked.
The claim of registered applicants whose GPA has been further improved in the recounting / re-verification process of SSC results may be considered under the waiting list upon submission of their improved grade sheet and certificates on or before 21st June 2022.

Submission of online application involves the following two steps: 1) Fee Payment, and 2) Filling of the Application Form.

The list of selected candidates for admissions will completely based on grade points/marks obtained in SSC class 10th examinations. Based the merit list the candidates will be selected for the counselling process. The list of candidates are able to attend for the IIIT Basara counselling process. The list of selected candidates can get admissions into B.TECH programmes
IIIT Basara Counselling Process
The selected candidates are invited to participate in the counselling process. IIIT Basara Counselling Process will be based on the candidates merit. for the counselling process the candidates must carry all the original documents. Without Merit list the candidate will not be allowed for the IIIT Basara Counselling. the aspirants belongs to soecial categories such as physically handicapped, CAP, NCC & sports the counselling will be conducted at RGUKT, Basar.
