Essential Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University or Institute.

Desirable Qualifications: Chartered Accountant or Cost & Management Accountant or Company Secretary or Masters in Commerce or Masters in Business Studies or Masters in Business Administration (Finance) or Masters in Business Economics.

During the period of probation direct recruits shall have to qualify the “Subordinate Audit/ Accounts Service Examination” in respective branches for confirmation and regular appointment as Assistant Audit Officer/Assistant Accounts Officer.

Junior Statistical Officer

Bachelor’s Degree in any subject from a recognized University or Institute with at least 60% Marks in Mathematics at 12th standard level;

Or

Bachelor’s Degree in any subject with Statistics as one of the subjects at degree level.

Statistical Investigator Grade – II PostBachelor’s Degree in any subject with Statistics as one of the subjects from a recognized University or Institute. The candidates must have studied Statistics as a subject in all the three years or all the 6 semesters of the graduation course.
Research Assistant in National Human Rights Commission (NHRC)

Essential Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University or Institute.

Desirable Qualifications:

Minimum one-year research experience in any recognized university or recognized Research Institution;

SSC CGL Application Fee

Rs. 100/- for GEN Candidates.
SC/ST/PWD/Ex-servicemen category are exempted from the application fee

Fee can be paid online through BHIM UPI, Net Banking or by using Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, RuPay Credit or Debit cards or in cash at SBI Branches by generating SBI Challan.

How to Apply for SSC CGL 2025

Applications must be submitted only in online mode at the website of SSC Headquarter i.e. https://ssc.nic.in. For detailed instructions, please refer to Annexure-III and Annexure-IV. Sample proforma of One-time Registration and online Application Form are attached as Annexure-IIIA and Annexure-IVA respectively.

SSC CGL 2025 Exam Pattern

Exams for SSC CGL will be Conducted Across the country. There will be Tier-1, Tier-2, Tier-3 and Tier-4 Exams Qualifying in previous Tier is required to to to Next Tier Exam.

SSC CGL Tier 3 Exam Pattern

This is a descriptive exam with the purpose of testing the written skills of the candidates in English/Hindi. The mode of examination is offline and the candidates are required to write Essay/Letter/Application/Precis.. The exam carries 100 marks and the time allotted for the same is 60 minutes. The time allotted for candidates belonging to PWD category is increased to 80 minutes. Tier-III paper is given by specific candidates who are interested only for the post of “Statistical Investigator Grade II” & “Compiler”.

SSC CGL Tier 4 Exam Pattern

This Tier-4 Exam is Optional and for Specified posts Only.
DEST (Data Entry Speed Test): For the post of Tax Assistant (Central Excise and Income Tax), DEST Exam through SSC CGL 2018-19 exam is conducted to check the typing speed of the candidate. The candidates are given an article in English which they have to type on Computer. A candidate is required to type 2000 words in 15 minutes.
CPT (Computer Proficiency Test):

  • The Commission will hold CPT, comprising three modules –
    • Word Processing,
    • Spread Sheet and
    • Generation of Slides
  • The test will be conducted for the post of
    • Assistant Section Officer of Central Secretariat Service (CSS), Assistant Section Officer (MEA), Assistant in Serious Fraud Investigation Office (SFIO) under the Ministry of Corporate Affairs and Assistant (GSI) in the Ministry of Mines.
  • CPT will be of qualifying nature.
  • The CPT will be conducted in the manner decided by the Commission for the purpose. No exemption from CPT is allowed for any category of Persons with Disabilities (PwD) candidates.
