SSC CHSL 2025 Notification: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the official notification for the Combined Higher Secondary Level (CHSL) Exam 2025 on its website, ssc.gov.in, on June 23, 2025. The application process has begun, and interested candidates can apply by July 18, 2025. The SSC CHSL Tier-1 exam will be held from September 8 to 18, 2025.
The Staff Selection Commission will hold a competitive examination for recruitment to Group C posts, viz. Lower Divisional Clerk/ Junior Secretariat Assistant, and Data Entry Operators for various Ministries/ Departments/ Offices of the Government of India and various Constitutional Bodies/ Statutory Bodies/ Tribunals, etc. The details of the examination are given in this Article.
All candidates are informed that the Notice for the Combined Higher Secondary (10+2) Level Examination, 2025 will be published soon on the Commission’s new website. Accordingly, the applications in response to this Notice will only be accepted on the Commission’s new website. Candidates who wish to apply in response to this Notice must generate their Time Registration (OTR) on the new website, as the old OTR will not be functional for the new website. The candidates may complete the Time Registration (OTR) as soon as possible, before the publication of the Notice for the Combined Higher Secondary (10+2) Level Examination, 2025. |

SSC CHSL Jobs 2025: Eligibility Criteria
Essential Education Qualification
- For Data Entry Operator (DEO)/ DEO Grade ‘A’ in the Office of Comptroller and Auditor General of India (C&AG), Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution, and Ministry of Culture: 12th Standard pass in Science stream with Mathematics as a subject from a recognized Board or equivalent.
- For LDC/ JSA and DEO/ DEO Grade ‘A’ (except DEOs in Department/ Ministry mentioned at Para 8.1 above): Candidates must have passed 12th Standard or equivalent examination from a recognized Board or University.
SSC CHSL 2025 Age Limit (As on 01-01-2026)
Age limit for the posts is 18-27 years, i.e., Candidates born not before 02-01-1999 and not later than 01-01-2008 are eligible to apply.
