TG EdCET Counselling 2026: The Telangana Council of Higher Education (TGCHE) has released the detailed notification for web-based counselling for TG Ed.CET-2026 admissions. Eligibility Details

Nationality & Domicile: The candidate must be an Indian National and belong to the state of Telangana. Candidates must satisfy the local or unreserved status requirements as per specified government orders.
Educational Qualifications: Applicants should have passed or appeared in a Bachelor’s Degree (B.A, B.Com, B.Sc, BCA, BBM, BBA, B.A Oriental Languages) or a Master’s Degree, securing at least 50% aggregate marks. Candidates with a Bachelor’s in Engineering or Technology must also have 50% aggregate marks.
Reserved Category Relaxation: Candidates belonging to SC, ST, BC, and other reserved categories must have secured a minimum of 40% marks in the qualifying examination.
Ineligible Degrees: Candidates with degrees like MBBS, B.Sc (Ag/Horticulture/Architecture), BVSC, BHMT, B.Pharm, or LL.B are not eligible for admission into the B.Ed course. A Master’s degree holder without undergraduate study is also ineligible.

Age Limit

Candidates must have completed 19 years of age as of July 1st of the year in which the notification is issued. There is no maximum age limit prescribed for taking admission.

Counselling Application Fee

All candidates are required to pay a non-refundable processing fee for the Registration cum Verification process via online payment methods (Credit Cards/Debit Cards/Internet Banking) in favor of the ‘Secretary, TGCHE’.

General & BC Candidates: Rs. 800/-
SC/ST Candidates: Rs. 500/-

How to Apply & Register Online

Visit the official admissions portal at [https://edcetadm.tgche.ac.in](https://edcetadm.tgche.ac.in) between July 21 and July 28, 2026.
Click on the relevant link for online registration and provide the required information in the application form. All entries should be correct, as the candidate is solely responsible for any incorrect entry.
Pay the non-refundable processing fee via an online payment gateway.
Upload clear scanned copies of all required original certificates for online verification (e.g., TG Ed.CET-2026 Rank Card, Degree PC/CMM, Intermediate and SSC certificates, Study Certificates, Caste/Income Certificates, etc.).
Special category candidates (NCC/CAP/PH/Sports) must upload their scanned special certificates and book a slot online for mandatory physical certificate verification at the Directorate of Admissions, Osmania University, Hyderabad.
Once verification is complete and the list is displayed, exercise your web options for preferred colleges and courses between August 2 and August 3, 2026.
Check the provisional allotment list on August 8, 2026, and physically report to the allotted college for final original certificate verification and tuition fee payment.
