Candidates must possess the requisite educational qualifications from a recognised university as of October 28, 2026. The required qualifications are:
- A Bachelor’s Degree with Statistics as one of the main subjects.
OR
- a Bachelor’s Degree with Mathematics, Economics, Commerce, or Computer Science as one of the main subjects, provided that Statistics was studied as a paper in one year, two years, or all three years of the degree course.

TGPSC ASO Vacancy 2026 Age Limit
Minimum Age: 18 Years (Candidate must not be born after 01/07/2008).
Maximum Age: 44 Years (Candidate must not be born before 02/07/1982) as of 01/07/2026.
Age Relaxations:

The selection for this recruitment will be based entirely on an Objective Type Written Examination, which may be conducted via Computer Based Recruitment Test (CBRT) or OMR offline mode.

TGPSC ASO Notification 2026: How to Apply
- Visit the official TGPSC website at www.tgpsc.gov.in.
- If applying for the first time, complete the One Time Registration (OTR) process to generate a unique TGPSC ID.
- Log in using your TGPSC ID, Date of Birth, and the OTP sent to your registered mobile number.
- Verify all pre-fetched details from your OTR database (Name, Date of Birth, Qualifications, Community, etc.).
- Select your preferred examination center.
- Preview the application to ensure all information is correct, then click the “SAVE & PAYMENT” button.
- Pay the applicable processing and examination fees online.
