Vacancy Details

UPPSC has announced a total of 513 vacancies across various engineering and non-engineering disciplines. The highest number of posts is available in Mechanical Engineering (140) and Electronics Engineering (77). Reservations apply to SC, ST, OBC, EWS, and other categories, as per state rules.

Education Qualification

Candidates must possess the requisite qualifications, including a First Class in the relevant discipline.

• Lecturer (Engineering/Technology): B.E./B.Tech./B.S. in the relevant discipline (e.g., Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, etc.) with First Class.
• Lecturer (Architecture): B.Arch. or a 4-year degree in an allied field with First Class.
• Lecturer (Non-Engineering – Physics, Chemistry, English, Math): Master’s degree in the appropriate subject with First Class.
• Workshop Superintendent: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering with First Class.

Salary Structure

Selected candidates will be appointed to Group-B Gazetted posts with the following pay scale:

• Pay Scale: Level-9A

• Entry Pay: ₹ 56,100/-.

• Note: For Level-10 posts, the entry pay is ₹ 57,700/-.

Age Limit

The age criteria for candidates as of July 1, 2025 is as follows:

• Minimum Age: 21 Years
• Maximum Age: 40 Years
• Born Between: July 2, 1985, and July 1, 2004.

Age Relaxation:

• PH Candidates: Max age up to 55 years.
• SC/ST/OBC/Skilled Players/State Govt Employees of U.P.: 5 years relaxation.
• PH of U.P.: 15 years relaxation.

Selection Process

The selection will be based on merit determined by the total marks obtained in:

1. Written Examination: Two papers (Paper I and Paper II) consisting of General Hindi, General Studies, and the Main Subject.

2. Interview: Only for candidates declared successful in the written exam.
