UTET 2023 Eligibility Criteria

Primary Teacher – Class I To V

• A Bachelor’s degree with 50 % Minimum Marks
• 12th with a minimum of 45% and two years of training in elementary education under National Teacher Education Council
• Shiksha Mitra personnel with 2 years Diploma (D.El.Ed) from IGNOU
• Candidate must be qualified a Higher Secondary with a minimum of 50% marks and  should have two years of Diploma in Elementary Education (D.EL.Ed/ BTC)

Upper Primary Teacher – Class VI To VIII

• Graduation with a minimum of 45% marks in B.Ed as per the NTEC guidelines
  Graduation in any discipline with 50% marks along with B.Ed
• Moreover, candidates who have passed a SSC or equivalent with 50% minimum marks and a Bachelor degree of 4 years in B.A/ B.Sc Ed or B.A Ed/ B.Sc Ed
