VITEEE 2026 Eligibility

• Both Indian and foreign Candidates can apply
• Candidates should qualify in the 10+2 from the Recognised board in the state or central.
• Candidates who have completed HSCE of Cambridge University or International Diploma of International Baccalaureate, Geneva
• Those Applicants who are getting 60 % (50% for SC/ST ) marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics are eligible to apply.

VITEEE 2026 Age Limit

• Candidates whose date of birth falls on or after 1st July 1998 are eligible to apply for VITEEE 2026.

• Mobile Application: Rs.1050/-
• Web Application:Rs.1150/-
• Printed Application:Rs. 1250/-

• Offline (OMR) Application Form:
  • Candidates can obtain the application form at a cost of Rs.1250/- through the following modes:
    • From the designated list of post offices throughout India.
    • By producing the Demand Draft for Rs. 1250/- in favour of ‘Vellore Institute of Technology’, in person, from the following campuses:
      • VIT, Vellore Campus
      • VIT, Chennai Campus
      • VIT-AP
      • VIT-Bhopal (MP)

• Online Application Form
  Candidates can apply online at https://viteee.vit.ac.in through the following modes:
  • Online application form through web mode
    • Net banking/Credit card/Debit card/Paytm at Rs. 1150/- for General candidates
    • Applicants opting to test centres located in foreign countries should pay USD 50 (excluding bank charges)
  • Online application form through mobile app mode

    Online applicants are requested not to send the hard copy of the application form.

Nationality:

• The applicant for admission should be a Resident / Non Resident Indian National / PIO.
• Foreign Candidates studied/studying abroad can apply directly through foreign category only. A separate application form is made available. Kindly check our website for details

Age Limit :

• Candidates whose date of birth falls on or after 1st July 1998 are eligible to apply for VITEEE-2026. The date of birth as recorded in the High School / SSC / X Certificate will be considered authentic. Candidates should produce this certificate in original as a proof of their age at the time of counselling, failing for which they will be disqualified.

Qualifying Examination:

Candidates appearing for the VITEEE-2026 should have either completed or shall be appearing in 2026, in any one of the following qualifying examinations :

• The final examination of the 10+2 system of Higher Secondary Examination conducted by the State Board; Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE, New Delhi), The Council for
• Indian School Certificate Examination (ISCE), New Delhi.
• Intermediate or Two-year Pre-University Examination conducted by a recognized Board/ University.
• High School Certificate Examination of the Cambridge University or International Baccalaureate Diploma of the International Baccalaureate Office, Geneva.
• General Certificate Education (GCE) examination (London/Cambridge/Srilanka) at the Advanced (A) level.
• As per VIT Norms, Regular ‘NIOS’ board candidates are also eligible for VITEEE. They should produce the Migration Cum Transfer Certificate at the time of joining.

Eligibility Criteria For The Qualifying Examination:

• Candidates appearing for the VITEEE in 2026 should have secured minimum aggregate of 60% in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology in the qualifying examination (+2/Intermediate).
• The average marks obtained in the subjects Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics or Biology (PCM / PCB) in +2 (or its equivalent) put together should be minimum aggregate of 50% for the following categories:
  • Candidates belonging to SC/ST
  • Candidates hailing from Jammu and Kashmir/ Ladakh and the North Eastern states of Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim and Tripura. CERTIFICATE TO PROVE COMMUNITY / NATIVITY should be produced at the time of counselling, failing which they will not be considered for admission.

Subject Eligibility:

• Candidates who have opted for MPCEA(Maths / Physics/ Chemistry / English / Aptitude)in VITEEE 2026 are eligible for all the B.Tech. Programmes.
• Candidates who have opted for BPCEA(Biology / Physics/ Chemistry / English / Aptitude)in VITEEE 2026 are eligible for the following Bio stream programmes only. But after joining, registering Mathematics as bridge course is mandatory.
  • B.Tech. Bio-engineering(VIT-Bhopal)
  • B.Tech. Biotechnology(VIT, Vellore)
  • B.Tech. Computer Science and Engineering with specialisation in Bioinformatics(VIT, Vellore)
  • B.Tech. Electronics and Communication with specialisation in Biomedical Engineering(VIT, Vellore)

How to Apply for VITEEE 2026

Online Mode : 

• Visit the official Website of VIT i.e. vit.ac.in
• Click on VITEEE 2026 in home page
• Click on Apply online
• Fill the details such as Valid Email ID, Phone number, Name & Date in the registration form
• Fill the application form carefully and upload the scanned copies of Photograph and Signature in the application form
• Make a Payment of application fee through Debit card, Credit card, Net Banking, etc
• Click on Submit
• Save the application form and Take a Printout of it for future reference.

Offline mode :

• Candidates need to pay the application fee of Rs. 1200 to the post office to get the application
• Aspirants can receive application from the VIT University
• Fill all the details in the application form
• Make a DD of application fee in favor of  VIT Campuses – Amaravathi, Bhopal, Chennai, Vellore
• Attach the Demand Draft of Application fee to it
• Send the application form through post

VITEEE 2026 Admit Card

VITEEE Admit Card 2026 is going to be issued by the board in its official Website 15 days before the Exam. All the candidates should carry Admit Card of VITEEE 2026 to the Examination hall. No applicant will be allowed into the Examination Hall without having Admit Card along with them. Candidates can Download VITEEE 2026 Hall Ticket from the link given below in this page. VITEEE 2026 Results

VITEEE Result 2026 will be released by the Board after a few days of completion of Exam. Aspirants who are qualified in the VITEEE 2026 are eligible to appear for the counseling process to get admission. Based on the Merit in the Written Exam cnadidates will be selected for the counseling process.
