Vacancy Details

The Vizianagaram DCCB has announced a total of 25 Staff Assistant vacancies available for open market recruitment. These posts are distributed across different categories following the standard reservation guidelines set by the government.

Education Details

To be eligible for the Staff Assistant position, candidates must possess a Graduation degree in any discipline from a legally recognized university as of 24.07.2026. Furthermore, candidates must have a strong knowledge of English, proficiency in the local language (Telugu), and a working knowledge of computers. Applicants must also be local candidates of the erstwhile Vizianagaram district based on their consecutive study years or residency status.

Salary

The selected candidates for the Staff Assistant post will be placed on a pay scale of Rs. 24,050 – 64,480/- along with applicable stagnation increments. At present, the total starting emoluments are approximately Rs. 47,000/- per month, which includes Dearness Allowance (DA) and House Rent Allowance (HRA) at current rates.

Age Limit

Candidates must meet the following age criteria as of 01.06.2026:

• Minimum Age: 20 years

• Maximum Age: 30 years

• Age Relaxations:

  • SC / ST Candidates: 5 years

  • BC Candidates: 3 years

  • PwBD (General): 10 years

  • PwBD (SC / ST): 15 years

  • PwBD (BC): 13 years

  • Ex-Servicemen: Actual period of service rendered plus 3 years (up to a maximum of 50 years)

Selection Process

The selection of candidates for the Staff Assistant post will be based solely on an Online Test/Examination.

• Online Test Structure: The exam consists of 200 objective-type questions carrying a total of 200 marks. It comprises sections on Reasoning (50 marks), Quantitative Aptitude (50 marks), English Language (40 marks), General Awareness (40 marks), and Computer Knowledge (20 marks).

• Duration: The total composite time for the exam is 120 minutes (2 hours).

• Negative Marking: There is a penalty of 0.25 marks for every wrong answer marked by the candidate.

• There will be no interview round; the final merit list will be prepared based on the online exam scores and existing reservation rules.

• SC / ST / PwBD / EXS Candidates: Rs. 590/- (inclusive of GST)

• OC / BC / EWS Candidates: Rs. 826/- (inclusive of GST)

• The application fee/intimation charges must be paid through online modes only using Debit Cards, Credit Cards, Internet Banking, IMPS, or Mobile Wallets.

2. Locate the recruitment section and click on the “APPLY ONLINE” option to navigate to the registration portal.

3. Click on “Click here for New Registration,” then enter your basic contact details (name, mobile number, and email ID) to generate your Provisional Registration Number and Password.

4. Proceed to fill in the detailed online application form, ensuring that all educational, demographic, and local candidature information is completely accurate.

5. Upload the essential scanned documents strictly according to the required size and format: a passport-style color photograph, signature in black ink, left thumb impression, and a handwritten declaration in English.

6. Follow the portal prompt to capture and upload a live photograph using your webcam or a mobile phone.

7. Verify all your entered details by clicking on the Preview Tab, then confirm your submission by clicking on “COMPLETED REGISTRATION”.

8. Navigate to the ‘Payment’ tab to submit your application fee electronically.

9. After successful payment, download and print the e-Receipt alongside your completed application form to carry during future document verification stages.
