Salary
Selected candidates receive a consolidated monthly remuneration without additional government allowances:
Urban Planner: Rs. 70,000/- per month
Archaeology and Museology Officer: Rs. 50,000/- per month
Deputy Environmental Engineer: Rs. 43,750/- per month
GIS Operator / Expert: Rs. 35,000/- per month
Assistant Environmental Engineer: Rs. 31,250/- per month
Garden Supervisor: Rs. 30,000/- per month
Senior Librarian: Rs. 25,000/- per month
Work Assistant (all disciplines), Draftsman, Surveyor, Junior Librarian, Assistant Garden Supervisor: Rs. 20,000/- per month
Age Limit
Maximum Age: Candidates must not be older than 45 years as on the application closing date (September 25, 2026).
Upper Age Relaxation: Because the upper age bar is universally fixed at an elevated ceiling of 45 years, no further age relaxations are granted to reserved category candidates.
Ex-Servicemen: Eligible with service deduction as per government norms, provided total age does not cross 45 years.
Selection Process
Merit-Based Selection (Work Assistant, Asst. Environmental Engineer, Junior Librarian): Selection lists are compiled strictly in order of merit based on the marks/percentage secured in the qualifying degree or diploma examination.
Merit-cum-Experience Evaluation (Draftsman, Surveyor, Senior Librarian, Garden Supervisors): Ranking is formulated based on candidate percentage in the qualifying ITI/Diploma/Degree credential along with verification of the required experience.
Interview Stage (Urban Planner, Archaeology Officer, GIS Expert, Dy. Environmental Engineer): Shortlisted candidates up to six times the number of vacancies (based on academic merit) will be invited for a personal interview.
Tie-Breaking Criterion: When multiple candidates achieve identical qualifying percentages, older candidates by date of birth are assigned higher placement on the merit list.
Document Verification: In-person scrutiny of original educational certificates, conversion charts (CGPA to percentage), reservation documents, and experience letters.
