The National Testing Agency (NTA) announced the results of the SWAYAM July 2025 Semester Examinations on January 12, 2026. This announcement brings a major update for thousands of learners who participated in the various online courses offered via the Study Webs of Active Learning for Young Aspiring Minds (SWAYAM) platform. Candidates who appeared for the Computer-Based Test (CBT) and hybrid mode exams can now access their scorecards through the official NTA portal.

Exam Details and Statistics
The July 2025 semester exams were conducted across 123 cities at 210 centers nationwide between December 11 and December 16, 2025.
- Courses Covered: A total of 647 papers were included in this session.
- Participation: Out of the 1,42,204 registered candidates, approximately 82.93% appeared for the CBT mode exams.
- Modes: 578 papers were conducted entirely in CBT mode, while 69 papers were held in a hybrid format (CBT plus pen-and-paper).
- Processing: While CBT results are live, some hybrid mode results for specific courses are still being processed and will be released separately.
NTA SWAYAM Exam Pattern
The exam pattern for SWAYAM varies based on the course type and credit requirements:
- Scheme 1 (66 Papers): Consists of 100 MCQs in CBT mode, with each question carrying 1 mark.
- Scheme 2 (463 Papers): Consists of 50 MCQs in CBT mode, with each question carrying 2 marks.
- Scheme 3 (65 Courses – Hybrid):
- Section A: 20 MCQs in CBT mode (20 marks).
- Section B: 10 Short Answer Questions in Pen-Paper mode (30 marks).
- Section C: 7 Long Answer Questions (attempt 5) in Pen-Paper mode (50 marks).
- Negative Marking: There is no negative marking for incorrect answers in any MCQ section.

Learners can follow these steps to download their official results and scorecards (and were previously used for admit cards):
- Visit the official NTA SWAYAM website at exams.nta.nic.in/swayam/.
- Click on the link titled “Results for SWAYAM Exam (July, 2025) Semester” on the homepage.
- Enter your Application Number and Date of Birth or Email ID as login credentials.
- Input the Security PIN displayed on the screen and click “Submit“.
- Your detailed scorecard will be displayed; click on Download/Print to save a copy for future academic credit transfers.
