ISRO VSSC Apprentice Trainee Recruitment 2026: The Vikram Sarabhai Space Center (VSSC), a major center of the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO), Department of Space, Government of India, has announced a Walk-in Selection Drive for Apprentice Trainees for the training year 2026–2027. Applications are invited under the Apprentices Act, 1961, and the Amendment Act, 1973, from eligible engineering degree holders, non-engineering graduates, hotel management graduates, and diploma holders.

Eligible candidates are invited to participate in the walk-in selection drive scheduled for July 25, 2026 in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala.

VSSC Recruitment 2026 Overview

Monthly Stipend

• Graduate Apprentices (Engineering & Non-Engineering): ₹12,300/- per month

• Technician Apprentices (Diploma Holders): ₹10,900/- per month

2. Technician Apprentice Positions (Stipend: ₹10,900/pm)

Important Ineligibility Rules & Priority Criteria

• Regional Priority: Priority will be given to candidates who completed their degree/diploma from institutions under the Southern Region of BOAT (Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, and Puducherry). Candidates from other regions will be considered only if there is a shortage of applications.

• Ineligible Candidates:

  • Candidates who passed their Degree/Diploma before April 2022.

  • Candidates pursuing M.E/M.Tech, awaiting final year results, or currently appearing in exams.

  • Candidates who have already completed or are undergoing apprenticeship training elsewhere, or have 1+ years of work experience.

  • Candidates who completed 5 years from the month/year of passing specified in their certificate.

Selection Process

1. Academic Merit: Candidates will be selected based on the highest percentage/CGPA scored in the relevant qualifying degree or diploma examination.

2. Reservation Norms: Due weightage will be provided according to Government of India reservation guidelines.

3. NATS 2.0 Registration: Selected candidates will be required to register on the Ministry of Education NATS 2.0 portal (www.nats.education.gov.in).

Walk-In Drive Details & Documents Required

Interested candidates must visit the VSSC Pavilion on July 25, 2026 between 9:30 AM and 5:00 PM at:

Venue: Karthika Thirunal Govt. V&GHSS for Girls, Manacaud, Thiruvananthapuram District, Kerala.

Documents to Carry (Original + Self-Attested Photocopies)

• Degree / Diploma Certificate (Provisional / Final).
• Consolidated Mark Lists (Provisional / Final).
• SSLC / SSC / AISSE / ICSE Certificate as proof of Date of Birth.
• Community / Caste Certificate (SC/ST) issued by Tahsildar (if applicable).
• Non-Creamy Layer Certificate (OBC) / Income & Asset Certificate (EWS) for FY 2026-27 (if applicable).
• Disability Certificate issued by a competent authority (for PWBD candidates).
• One passport-size photograph.
