1. Section-wise Minimum Admissible Score (SMAS)

SMAS is the minimum mark required to pass an individual section.

  • OBC-NCL Category: 90% of the General category SMAS.

  • SC/ST/Divyangjan Category: 50% of the General category SMAS.

In addition to clearing the SMAS in at least three subjects, candidates must achieve a minimum overall percentile to secure a rank on the merit list.

  • General Category: 95th Percentile

  • OBC Category: 90th Percentile

  • SC/ST/Divyangjan Category: 75th Percentile (with a 5% relaxation for Divyangjan candidates where applicable).
